dominique + serena is a multidisciplinary architectural studio founded by Dominique Hauderowicz and Kristian Ly Serena and based in Copenhagen. The studio's work focuses on age-inclusion and the social potentials of architecture and the built environment. Their recent publication ‘Age-Inclusive Public Space’ explores the meaning and significance of public space in relation to the aging human being. In both theory and their architectural practice, the studio explores the notions of elasticity, polyvalence and atmosphere in order to find new ways to design and talk about space. They regularly contribute to public discourse and the studio's recent works have been exhibited as part of The Architecture Triennale in Oslo and reviewed in magazines such as Der Spiegel.
