The extended overall reception capacity of the Government was around 4,000 at the time. The number they accommodated in 2015 exceeded 100,000 and made it necessary for the Hungarian Government to extend its reception capacities through deploying tents and pre-fabricated mobile houses to established reception facilities, and by opening new temporary arrangements.
